Tooth Fairy

I am sure many of us know or at least heard about tooth fairy.

When a child loses a baby tooth, this fantasy figure will come to the child during their sleeps, collect the tooth, provided the child place the tooth underneath their pillow, and replace it with small amount of money. Well..that is so myth.

Now, let me tell you my own version of tooth fairy.
To me.. tooth fairy should help us keeping our teeth clean. But since fairy is just a fantasy, so we can only depend on our own effort to keep our teeth clean.

Recently, I bought a new tooth brush.

Wait...hold it. I know you must be thinking, why on earth I want to talk about tooth brush.
I promise you, if you meet my version of tooth fairy, I bet you won't regret.

All this while, I have been using Oral-B or Colgate toothbrush. Well, I can say the advertisements are very convincing, plus they always end their advertisement with.."Oral-B/ Colgate..recommended by dentist".
I believe this particular tagline is strong enough to push their sales.

But  I still did not get the satisfaction after flossing, brushing and guggle with mouth wash.
So I decided to change to a new brand, a Japan technology.
The result was totally different...way too different than the previous brand.
My teeth never felt so clean this way, not even like after using electric toothbrush.
Without further a due, let me introduce to you, my version of tooth fairy.

Look at the slim bristles yet soft. It can easily penetrates in between teeth.. to clean your teeth better.

Dinner @ PLOY, Damansara Heights

What a great day yesterday..not only I spent half of my time day dreaming about going to Chengdu,
on top of that my managers had treated us for 2011 appreciation dinner.

We reached the restaurant almost 8 o'clock. I was so hungry, until I forgot to snap most of the food served.
We had some lotus chips, cat fish's skin chips, some pasta in carbonara sauce, and high-lite for the night was the spaghetti in squid ink sauce.
My first time tasted the dish..errrkkk.. Our teeth turn black while eating it.
Luckily it was not a permanent stain..LOL

Overall, the restaurant concept is good..fusion dining with  modern contemporary ambiance.
Food rating is just average.
Will I come back to dine here? Maybe for the pizza and frozen strawberry ice tea.

Empty office + work = Daydream

Coming to year end, my office getting empty and emptier.
Everybody is clearing their annual leave..except for my department.
Nobody are allowed to take leave towards end of the year. We have to work for closing. (sigh)
Most of my office mates right now  are on their vacations..maybe on a ship cruise or maybe playing with snow, perhaps sun bathing on a tropical beach.. awwwhh! Envy them!
So here I am.. with tonnes of works need to finish..and I have no mood to work.

Physically I am in the office, trying in vain to meet my job requirements..yet inside me, I am struggling want to go for a holiday.
hhmm..where would my next dream destination be..?

Well I love Panda..The real life Panda..they look so cute and nice to hug.
Wait..where does Panda lives??
I don't want those Panda who leaves in the zoo..they look so helpless, I cannot interact with them.

So instead of posting some data in the systems, I was looking for more info about this black and white bear.
I learned that, there is a Panda Breeding & Research Center in Chengdu, China.
They are open for volunteers who wants to learn more about panda.
Basically volunteers will help to feed, clean panda etc.
Wow isn't that interesting..this is exactly what I want.
But hey the package isn't that cheap..it will take some time for me to save up..huhu
with my salary, perhaps in one and half years time..uwwaaa

ANTM All Stars Winner

In one of my previous blog, I did mentioned about 3 finalist of ANTM All Stars.
Well, recently Tyra has crowned Lisa D' Amato, 31 as the winner of this cycle.

At the finale runway, finalist; Lisa and Allison had to walk on a Grecian water-themed catwalk.
First, the models had to swim, to signify their 'birth as models'. Then they have to wear harness to make appearance in their own design dress by Michael Cinco.

However, before the finale, Lisa and Allison's  rival, Angelea was disqualified, because she posted some info on her facebook about the show before the program aired.

Same like many viewers, we were wondering how do the judges come to finalization of this decision.
In my opinion, Allison uniqueness conquers all.
For those who knows how Lisa and Allison performance, do you agree with the judges choice?

Midnight Masterchef

I think I am one of millions viewers out there who are influence by cooking program on tv.
Name it..Nigella Express, Jamie's America Tour, DC Cupcake, US Master chef, Jr. Master chef etc.
The amazing thing about these programs are.. they make cooking looks so easy!

Lately I have troubles of getting asleep. I don't know why, this is just not me.
Normally, I will fly to my dreamland latest 10minutes after I lay down on my bed.
But nowadays..its like I'm in a battle with eyes and brain. Eyes shut but mind actively thinking this and that.
So last night, I couldn't sleep again. Tried to watch some shows on tv..nothing interesting.
The worst part, my stomach was growling.

So having inspired by cooking program on tv, and sort of remember the recipe I tried before.
I decided to bake..in the middle of the night!!
What a diversion I chose??
I just used whatever left in the fridge. One and half hours after that, smells of my freshly baked bread pudding just makes me feel good.

Since I don't have enough ingredients to make vanilla sauce, not even some vanilla ice-cream, I just had a slice only.
I went straight to sleep right after that..feeling little guilty thinking of the calories I put in my body, in the middle of the night!!
But hey, I felt nice and satisfied!

Mini Movie Marathon

Yesterday was an awesome afternoon for a movie freak like me.
There it goes, proudly declare myself as movie freak.
And most of the times I get carried away with movies like secret agent and superhuman or mutant.

Always, always dream of me in a nice sexy, long body kicking some bad guy ass, with cool gadgets, having to speak many languages and not forgetting alongside with handsome, masculine hero.
Or perhaps I have superpower like a mind reader or super fast.
Life will be much interesting.

Damn I wish I'm a Hollywood actress, at least I get to do a role play, even it is not for real.
Reality check. This dream will never come true.

So back to my mini movie marathon. I was so super excited when my HR department announced that we get to watch the premier show of MI4: Ghost Protocol, and I was among the first sign up for the event.

With Tom Cruise and BMW range of cars like the 1 series, X3, 6 series convertible and BMW i8, some great stunts, off course it is  a great movie!
I'm also impress with the world tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Check out my favourite scene in the movie at 0:38, when Tom Cruise and Paula Patton engage with the connected drive heads up display. BMW rocks!

The movie finished at 6.10pm. It was just right after the office hour, where everybody rushing to go back home.
Some of my colleagues decided to drown themselves in a massive traffic jam, some decided to go for karaoke, but I decided to watch another movie.
Went straight to the counter, the next available movie was just 15 minutes gap., "New Year's Eve'.

Story of many life's in New York city, in the hope of looking for happiness, correcting mistakes, fulfill their resolutions etc.
I gave 2 stars out of 5. Seriously, if it is not because of the overloaded of superstars, the movie wouldn't be that interesting.
Movie finished at 8.30pm, just nice traffic to find my way home.

Sleepless night

I didn't have a good night sleep last night. My mind keep thinking about work.

Have you ever been in a situation where, where you can't complete your task because waiting feedback from your supplier/ counterpart? And to make things worst your boss is pressurizing you about the outcome.
Yes, this is what actually happen to me.

My boss is flying out of the country this weekend, and I owe him some info. And the best part is, he just told me last minute, but expect an immediate answer. Due to our supplier is in Germany and the time difference, there is no way, my supplier could reply instantly. But he, didn't care about all this. All he want is just an answer.

So my mind keep running, have they reply my email yet? Should I just go office to check my email? Or should I just wait till Monday. But wait...Monday is a public holiday here..Argghhh!!

So, as a diversion to my worries, I have to do some physical thing. I have been a wake 2 hours from my usual time and doing house chores. Dusting, vacuuming, moping the floor etc.

But hey! A diversion is still just a diversion, I am still thinking about work!

Annoyed by you!

In life, at least you will meet one person that can really annoys you.
Yes, at times you’ll be in a situations where you simply have to communicate with some of those people you just can’t stand!
For me unfortunately, I have to face that person everyday, 5 days a weeks, 20 days a month and damn 240 days in a year.
Oh no, minus my leave days, 226 days a year. Huh..this is so sickening.
No doubt this person is a good person, it is just at times this person is just crossing my patience.
What are the things that this person do that annoys me?? Many! Here are some examples;

- loud talking on the phone; either business call or personal call.
- extremely loud ringtone.
- overreacted when surprise over something.
- laugh in weird way.
- ask too many questions like a police interrogate suspects.

So today, this person ask too many questions, until I seriously feels like I'm turning into green!
Huh..for one second, I thought I'm going to burst out.
But lucky God still allows me to think..so I remain calm.
And fight fire with ice!!
Yes..I 'tai-chi' back the question that makes this person mouth shut! Booyah!!

Lazy Sunday

It's Sunday again! Yeay! No plans..just at home.
Actively potato 'couching'. With junk food and  tv remote control in my hand, nothing that interest me.
So I decided to watch a dvd that I bought couple of weeks ago.
'Friends with Benefits'. Starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.
I have to admit my teenage crush to Justin Timberlake drives me get this movie. he he..he is still cute.

So basically from the movie title, you know what sort of benefits we are looking into; friendship plus sex.
The storyline is just fine to fulfill my Sunday afternoon. I give 6 out of 10 scores.

ANTM All Stars - Final 3

I am crazy about ANTM, ever since it was 1st aired in 2007.
I love the drama, the challenge and most of all I love the creative photo shoot.
I always dream to become a model, a runway model to be precise. I also dream to have wings in the Victoria Secret shows.. just like Adrianna Lima, Heidi Klum, just to name a few.
But hey.. I am vertically challenge!!  So, I just have to put aside that dream. It will never ever come true.
Perhaps..in my next life..LOL. If there is one..

ANTM today is at Cycle 17 a.k.a Cycle All Stars.
In this cycle, Tyra called 13 memorable girls of each cycle to come back and compete in Cycle 17. They are;

Newbies

I'm a newbies to blogger family.
I know, I am way too late to start blogging, but hey who cares. I have too much of free time.. alone.
Yes..alone. I'm in  a long distance marriage. That is the only option we have now. What a pathetic side of me. With the time zone difference, it makes even bitter.
